  9. Please Note:  The QM Administrator 2.6 Updater must be run on local machines only.  Do not run remotely.
  10. To use the QM Administrator 2.6 to 2.6v1 updater:  
  11.  
  12. 1.  Quit the QM Administrator to be updated.
  13. 2.  Launch the Admin 2.6 Updater (double click on the updater).
  14. 3.  Read screen and press OK.
  15. 4.  Locate the QM Administrator to be updated and press OK.
  16.      (The updater will run for about one minute)
  17. 5.  Quit the updater and re-launch the QM Administrator 
  18.          (re-booting is not necessary)

  20. Issues Corrected in this Update

  22. •  Corrected the Gateway API call "FiletoMail" when passing enclosures in PackIt format for delivery to QuickMail file-based users.  When receiving .PIT files it did not increment the real number of enclosures stored in the DiskDirRec.  
  23.  
  24. •  Improved administrator performance when presented with a mail message that incorrectly identified the number of enclosures.  This version corrects the number of enclosures referenced in the DDR, which permits proper delivery.

  26. •  Corrects an addressing issue that occurred when a first name only address matched an existing first name already present in an address book.
  27.  
  28. •  Now supports handling more than 200 remote MailCenters.
  29.  
  30. •  Before adding a new mailcenter, a check is made to make sure the MailCenter limit (5000) is not exceeded.
  31.  
  32. •  The QM Administrator verifies a timeout, before closing a QM Remote or terminal connection.
  33.  
  34. •  Temp files larger than 28K are no longer left in the QA folder.
  35.  
  36. •  The "Subject" field in mail forms will now display the entire contents of the original message (this is limited only by the size of the form's subject field).
  37.  
  38. •  We now check for files in the source NS Temp folder before copying to file-based mailcenters.  This helps prevent empty folders, and zero length destination files.
  39.  
  40. •  Improved viewing of very large administrator log files.
